The concept had a great program, with ambitious festival programming, varied activities throughout the city and an inspiring festival heart in, on and around the former V&D building in the city center. The further development of this program with and by partners has proved difficult due to this crisis and without partnership the essence of the #RAM will be lost.

Many partners had a nice plan in development that addressed the power of architecture, the major challenges such as sustainability, the development of the city and urgent social issues. Professional world, young talent and a wide audience would meet in large numbers at numerous high-profile architectural locations in the city, as well as in gardens, on roofs, in demolition buildings and in the heart of the city center. But the latter, coming together in larger groups, is unfortunately not yet possible in June.

As initiators, we will continue to work with all partners to set this postponed edition of #RAM in a big way again next year. We seize this opportunity to start preparations now and continue to work on a new website.
