Walking between monumental port buildings and innovative urban projects, you will stroll through the Merwe-Vierhavengebied, where industrial heritage, port activities, space for experiment, and modern urban development converge.
During this one-off excursion social geographer Glenn Zevenbergen will tell the stories behind iconic buildings such as the HAKA Building, the Citrusveiling, the Oranjelijn Departure Hall, and the Europoint Towers, and get a glimpse into the future of this rapidly changing district.

Visit HAKA Building and Citrusveiling
As an extra special part of this walk, we will visit two impressive national monuments: the iconic HAKA Building, designed in the 1930s as an integrated complex of offices, a warehouse, and a silo, and the unique Citrusveiling building.
