Undercurrent: Fresh designs perspectives
Can design create a safe, healthy and inclusive habitat for humans and other species? If so, which design strategies are capable of providing answers to societal and ecological urgencies?
In this talkshow the youngest generation of design professionals shares their views on how to shape the future. In the talkshow six of the most promising designers give an insight into their graduation plans, ranging from architectural proposals to large-scale landscape strategies. Their graduation projects have been carefully selected by their schools. Together they can be considered as a representation of their generation.
The talkshow is hosted by Teun van den Ende and introduced by Henk van der Veen, director of Archiprix. All 30 selected projects are also on show at Het Nieuwe Instituut, the website www.archiprix.nl and featured in the book “Archiprix 2021, The Best Dutch Graduation Projects Architecture, Urbanism, Interior and Landscape Architecture”, by NAi010 publishers.
