During the evening of the Day and Night of Architecture you are transported back in time. Special activities take place in pioneering buildings of the 20th century. Drink a cocktail in style at Sonneveld House, take a peek behind the scenes at the Bijenkorf department store, and enjoy the view of the sunset and outdoor cinema on the roof of the SS Rotterdam.

Explore the experimental social housing in Bloemhof with a visit to the Kiefhoek, and experience office poetry on the 22^nd floor of the Delftse Poort. Also, the Industriegebouw and the Van Nelle Factory are open with special tours. An adventurous evening boat trip lets you see the port architecture in another light. After midnight, discover the frayed edges of the city, with exciting tales of sailing folk and thrilling taxi rides.
