Specially for the Day and Night of Architecture there is a breakfast on The Podium on top of the roof of Het Nieuwe Instituut. The striking pink installation was designed by architectural firm MVRDV, who also designed the adjacent Depot.

Join us this morning together with architect Winy Maas at an altitude of 29 meters. Podcast and filmmaker Katinka Baehr will discuss the ideas behind the design and his view on the future of the city.

Practical info

This event takes place on the pink Podium on top of the roof of Het Nieuwe Instituut, Festival Heart of the Rotterdam Architecture Month ’22. Reserve your tickets through the ticketlink. Upon arrival, go to the RA Month information desk to be directed towards The Podium. Visitors for RA Month events in the Festival Heart have automatic acces to The Podium and do not have to book a seperate timeslot.

Please note: The programme on The Podium has no roofing. Take into account the weather conditions. Protect yourself from the heat and sun by putting on sunscreen, wearing headgear, using a (sun) umbrella and/or bring some extra water. Protect yourself from wind, cold and possibly a drop of rain by bringing extra warm clothing and an umbrella. In case of bad weather, the programme will be moved to the Auditorium on the ground floor of Het Nieuwe Instituut.
